New to Snipe Options

Hi,
New to this snipe thing, but sick of losing due to not being around.
Anyhow can someone please and confirm either way?
I have put a max bid in snipe for an ebay auction ending soon due to Possibly not being around!!! If by any chance I can get to a computer and bid on ebay in the normal way with the same user ID etc, could I end up bidding against my self on snipe if I dont get chance to cancel my Snipe bid?
